Erik is 4 months old

Across the room, Erik eyes a turkey leg that no one is eating.

I think we may be in trouble. Erik went to his 4 month appointment today and we got some rather shocking news. I’ll let Susan’s email explain it:

Erik is a Guentzel.

Just got back from his 4-month check up and here are the vitals:

Head: 17.75 – off the chart
Weight: 19 lbs., 2 oz. — off the chart
Length: 26.25 inches — 95%

All in all, he’s doing great.

For those of you scoring at home: He’s got a big head and he’s heavier than most 9 month old babies (and a few 1 year olds). The height is a bonus.

We now enter the “solid food” stage. The local grocery store will be so pleased.
