Erik enjoys a hot bath with all his toys
You may interested to know that we bathe the children from time to time. As you can see from these pictures, Erik got his bath in the plastic tub tonight. He’s six months old today and we thought it was time.

Erik examines his generous pot belly (naughty bits Photoshopped out)
We usually give him baths in the kitchen sink. He seems to enjoy those, but he really likes to kick in this plastic tub. I don’t understand how a baby gets all that dirty to begin with. I mean, he gets a periodic bottom washing when he has “diaper time” and we wipe his face after he’s downed a jar of baby food. Oh yeah, he’s eating baby food now…quite a bit of baby food. This isn’t just the rice cereal stuff either. He seems to like spinach lasagna the best.
What Happened?
I received a polite little note from my internet-savvy mother-in-law that stated (paraphrased) “Where are you?” I didn’t realize that Guentzel.org has been “down” for the past few days. Well, it hasn’t been “down”, it’s been here all the time, but if you typed only “http://www.guentzel.org/” my redirects were broken and you might have gotten a 404 error (file not found on this server). It was my bad. I’ve now fixed it (I think).
Old phone number now works
We’ve had some fun with Lingo and now it looks like our old phone number has now switched over to our Lingo account. So, if you had that temporary number, go ahead and discard it. We’re going to use the main number from now on. I’ll let you know how we like it.
New house and old house are looking better
Our new house is starting to resemble an actual residence. Susan got on a tear and emptied several boxes over the weekend. Our Goodwill pile continues to grow, but we seem to be finding places for the miscellaneous stuff we brought over. We still have things in the garage that have to be processed, but at least the boxes aren’t lining both sides of the entry hall now.
We have contracted with a painter named “Mario” to paint our old house. He has done a great job and I can’t wait to show you pictures. For those of you who have seen it before, you may not believe it’s the same house. If any of you (local) want a painter, we’ll give you his number. This house goes on the market by next week.
