For the first time, in a long time, I’m at Scholz’s Bier Garten in downtown Austin. Susan is picking up her trumpet tonight. For those of you that don’t know, Scholz’s is a hangout for the Wurst band on Thursday nights in the Spring and Fall. The Wurst band is a collection of old band geeks that get together and play band tunes.

Emma always has a good time when she comes to Scholz’s. She’s warming up for a night of running around the outside patio.

This is Erik’s first Scholz’s experience. He looks ready.
