We’re in trouble now…
Erik is now pulling himself up and walking around. Last night, he decided that pulling himself up in his crib was not enough, so he decided to go mobile. My boy is now learning the fine art of “cruising” with our barstools.
In other news, the Quail Run house might close this week. Susan and I went over this weekend to work on the lawn a bit even though the house has been under contract for a few weeks, we decided it wouldn’t hurt to cut the grass. I will definitely let you know if it sells.
This past Friday, Susan and I went to go see the new Star Wars movie in Austin. Luckily we were both able to take off while the kids were in day care. We saw the movie at a movie theatre that used a DLP projector — in other words, high definition. It was incredible (visually) and the plot wasn’t bad either. I remember seeing the first Star Wars movie (Episode IV) in the movie theatre 28 years ago. Like most of my friends, I saw it several times. It’s somewhat odd (and a little depressing I must admit) that it’s taken 28 years to get satisfaction for this series of movies (that was never really intended to go beyond the first movie). If you like Star Wars, you will most likely appreciate the film.
Oh…and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN!!!
For now, Susan and I are the same age. On Friday, my bride turned…nevermind…I’m not allowed to say. Nevertheless, we celebrated with presents and cake this past weekend. Emma was especially pleased to sing “Happy Birthday” to her mom several times over. I’m sure if you told her several years ago that she would be married with 2 kids at this age, she would have never believed you.
She still looks several years younger than her true age.
