Sherilynne with her granddaughter and an unidentified spoon-moocher (Erik)

Sherilynne and Terry (plus Randy and Kelby) have been a part of my life for quite a while. Their family and the Guentzel family have been together since the early 70s (I think — mom might have to correct me), and we’ve seen several events. We experienced lots of school, a bunch of movies, pretending to be DJs on a radio station and record it to tape, multiple sleep overs and lots of Saturday Night Live (the good ones with Belushi and the rest). They made my childhood a better place.

They also made my adult life a better place too. When Susan and I were dating, I found out she knew of Randy and Kelby because they all went to high school together. I honestly think that played in my favor — both Randy and Kelby were good basketball players…Susan must have thought I was “connected”.

So, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Sherilynne et al is online at http://www.samtiques.com. She has started a blog that details their retirement, their travels and their grandkids.

And they keep their blog pretty up to date too!
