All smiles for the first day

Another day; another milestone. As a commenter pointed out, Kayla getting another year older (14 now) means I also got a year older. As much as I would like to deny it, the logic is irrefutable.

Now my younger daughter has entered the public school system.

Yesterday Emma went to Kindergarten!

Her school had a lot of pre-enrollment activity to make Emma feel comfortable, so the first day was a breeze for her. She brought her floral backpack that she got for her birthday with her lunch packed inside.

As I write this she’s hassling me on when we can leave so she can get to school. Let’s see how this changes through the years…
