Many of you might be wondering where I’ve been. I’ve been here, but on a different schedule.

Now that Ms. Emma is in Kindergarten (and I take her to school), the order of things has been thrown a bit. I’m coming into work almost an hour and a half later than usual (thanks to Austin traffic), and I’m coming home later as well. Kayla is attending high school and her days are dominated by homework and band practice. Our visitation schedule has been a little bit choppy as a result.

Mix that with some 100 degree temps over the last 3 weeks, and you’ve got a major case of apathy.

The good news is that we’re seeing the blue lines with the blue triangles on the forecasts now (that means cold fronts). That’s good news. Fall is my favorite time of year.
