You might recall I got all proud of myself because I figured out how to sew on a button. Well…Susan has done a quilt!
Even with very little (or no) experience sewing, Susan got compelled to put together a denim quilt made from a collection of our worn out blue jeans. She decided Erik needed a quilt and she needed the experience. She started sewing over the holidays and she just finished up this weekend.
It looks awesome. Erik will certainly have room to grow with this quilt.

I love that we parents are buying our kids new mittens (me) and making them warm quilts (Susan — and may I say, “Wow”), while our kids want to romp about in shorts. Who would believe this was all frozen tundra just a few days ago?
