Believe it or not, I had a weekend. It was here just a minute ago. It just happened so fast.

On Friday night, we discovered we had neighbors we hadn’t met yet. It turns out that a nearby culdesac has an informal block party every Friday night. I had an after work get together with my softball team, so I didn’t show up until about 7pm. Susan and the kids were already at the party. We loved the people; the kids loved the outdoor playtime. It was awesome.

On Saturday, Susan got to catch up with a friend who was in town by eating at a really nice eatery in Austin called Wink (Susan’s quick review: Two Thumbs WAY up!). Since it was mostly a girl thing, I stayed home with the kids. Once the little ones were asleep, Kayla and I watched a movie.

Sunday was a lazy day…sort of. We cleaned house, I put some watches up on eBay.

Speaking of our neighborhood, a lot of time has been eaten up by our neighborhood website. For the past couple of years, I’ve been the webmaster of the site and as our neighborhood has grown, so has our website. I’m in the middle of moving the host from a bargain basement operation to a more robust (and more expensive) host. This and my 8 to 5 is really filing up my time.
