I’m not going to tell you Susan’s age, just that her birthday is today. In celebration, she and and I went on a quasi-date to La Margarita and picked up her birthday present. I’ve been trying to find the Platinum Edition of Pan’s Labyrinth and it has been sold out everywhere. The regular edition is available in most places, but the Platinum Edition has been hard to find. Luckily, I was able to locate a copy in Georgetown at Best Buy.

Earlier in the day, we went to our old haunts and attended Deutchenfest in Pflugerville. Deutchenfest is a fun little spring festival that we used to attend when we lived in town, but we haven’t been back in awhile. We watched the parade (complete with Ben Hur members driving little cars and motorcycles) and had a great time.
