Well, we went out and saw the latest Disney film, Ratatouille with the whole fam.

When I saw the early trailers for this film, I wasn’t all that impressed. I thought it would be entertaining because Pixar was putting it out, but I wasn’t sure I would be seeing it in the theater. Well, the subsequent trailers looked better and we decided to go.

I’ve got to echo what critics have been saying on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes. This film is really, really well done. I might have a few annoyances with the story, but they are very slight. The animation is fantastic and the humor is outstanding. The whole family laughed uncontrollably in a few sections. I haven’t clapped at the end of a movie in a long time…I did at the end of this one.

We will be buying it on DVD.
