I’m continually amazed about what I find on the Internet. Lego cake. Not a cake made out of Legos, but a real cake that looks like giant Legos.

Lately I’ve been listening to history podcasts that illustrate the quality of life in times past. It intrigues me how previous civilizations lived out their lives. Ancient Rome, Persia, Renaissance France and even the United States 30 years ago cannot compare to the sheer volume of information available to such a wide audience today. This is to say nothing of the prospect of improved communication and cultural understanding that could come as a byproduct.

I’m trying to temper my optimism, but think of the Lego cake.
